How do you stay energized despite the November blues? Walk them off! Join Klif shopping centre and its partners Calypso Fitness and Martes Sport every Tuesday and Saturday in November for a Nordic Walking session in Orłowo. The first workout has been planned for 6 November.
Nordic Walking, a type of walking exercise with special poles, has gained in popularity in recent years. It has become so popular because virtually anyone who can walk can also practise Nordic Walking. No special athletic preparation is necessary, and the gear is fairly cheap. You can do it almost anywhere, whatever the season. That is why Klif and Calypso Fitness are rising to the November challenge, extending an invitation to join them for Nordic Walking sessions twice a week. All participants of these active meetings will enjoy the support of Martes Sport which has prepared poles for the walkers.
Walking with poles, especially outdoors, helps improve the circulatory and respiratory system function. It makes you fitter and boosts your mood. Unlike normal walking, Nordic Walking also engages the upper body, making more than 80% of your muscles work, while putting little strain on the joints.
The first autumn session on 6 November at 10 AM will be led by Calypso Fitness trainer Ania Gloc-Żyszkiewicz. The workouts are free and last 90 minutes. To register, call the Calypso Klif gym.
